In 2012, the Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute hosted a Gala at the Bently Reserve in San Francisco where special guests Susan Sarandon, Will.i.am and Meryl Streep shared tributes to William McDonough. McDonough also announced his new book The Upcycle and his new Clinton-inspired solution to homelessness in Haiti and beyond.
