VIDEO: William McDonough headlines Disruptive Innovation Festival

William McDonough participated in the 2014 Disruptive Innovation Festival as one of the headliners. Curated by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, the four-week long festival allows the participants, made up of industry-leaders, executives, and businesses, to explore the economy through a mix of digital and in-person events.  The goal of the festival is to gather leaders from all over the globe, to generate a plan for change for a future economy.

During the session, audience members had the opportunity to ask questions live.  Joss Blériot, the interviewer, is the Head of Editorial and European Affairs at Ellen MacArthur Foundation.  In his session, titled “Redesigning the Future,” McDonough discusses the framework for a circular economy, the ability of these fundamentals to revolutionize the way society looks at materials, and propel a movement of positive change toward a circular economy.
